Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our CTO/Co-Founder and EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design) hiring managers to comprehend team dynamics and recruitment needs, serving as a trusted advisor in crafting and implementing hiring strategies.
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, encompassing sourcing, screening, and securing top technical talent through diverse channels, along with coordination efforts.
  • Formulate innovative sourcing strategies and messaging to identify, engage, and recruit premier technical talent, establishing a robust talent pipeline for current and future needs through online platforms, networking, and events.
  • Conduct comprehensive interviews to accurately assess candidates' technical competencies and cultural fit.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and maintaining clear communication throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Advocate for a data-driven recruitment methodology. Possess a deep understanding of recruitment pipelines, utilize metrics to refine and enhance the hiring process, and create reports and dashboards.
  • Improve recruitment processes, including interviewer training, documentation, and other initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen to cultivate trusting relationships with stakeholders and candidates.

Candidate Profile:

  • Over 7 years of experience as a full-cycle in-house Technical Recruiter, ideally within growth-stage SaaS startups.
  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering, product, and design roles in a product-centric SaaS environment, with the capability to evaluate candidates' technical skills and experience.
    • Relevant roles include but are not limited to software engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, platform engineers, product managers, product designers, and EPD leadership.
  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring exceptional technical talent in a competitive landscape.
  • Experience in negotiating complex offers, including equity components, and successfully closing candidates.
  • Proficient in utilizing recruiting metrics—able to leverage conversion rates, passthrough rates, time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, and other metrics to enhance the recruitment process.
  • Familiarity with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever.
  • Enthusiastic about the startup ecosystem and eager to contribute to the development of recruitment processes and frameworks as we expand.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Ashby.
  • Familiarity with Gem or similar sequencing tools for sourcing campaigns.
  • Experience in developing recruitment dashboards and reports.
