Your Responsibilities

As a key member of the Engineering Recruiting team, you will significantly contribute to the expansion of our engineering capabilities at Brex. By working closely with hiring managers, you will devise and implement strategies to draw in top-tier talent. Your proficiency in talent acquisition will be essential for identifying, assessing, and securing the best candidates for our technical teams. In our dynamic environment, you will take charge of initiatives beyond conventional recruiting tasks, ensuring smooth processes and an outstanding experience for all candidates.

Key Duties
  • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates, drive referrals creatively, and evaluate applications
  • Develop detailed talent maps to provide insights into the talent landscape
  • Implement and refine cutting-edge sourcing and recruiting strategies
  • Advise hiring managers on effective talent acquisition practices
  • Act as a representative of Brex to candidates, attracting and securing exceptional talent
  • Conduct pre-screening calls to assess applicants' skills and alignment with job specifications and company values
  • Interview candidates using a variety of methods, including structured interviews, technical evaluations, and behavioral assessments
  • Guide candidates through the offer and negotiation stages

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of comprehensive recruiting experience
  • Proven ability to understand job requirements and evaluate applicants
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing methodologies (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Willingness to work in-office two days a week

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Background in recruiting for engineering or related teams
  • Experience with university recruitment
  • Global hiring experience

Compensation Overview

The anticipated salary range for this position is $126,560 - $158,200. The starting base salary will be determined by various factors, including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demand, and internal pay equity. Depending on the role, equity and additional compensation may be included in the overall compensation package.
