Job Overview

Forcine Concrete & Construction Company is looking for a dedicated Construction Crew Supervisor to assist in managing our construction initiatives. This role involves overseeing the performance of construction teams, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, and upholding safety regulations at the worksite.

The Construction Crew Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Foreman to organize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and resolve any challenges that may occur during the construction process.


Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional credentials in construction management are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in the construction sector, with a solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety measures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities to effectively assign tasks and guide construction teams.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, utilizing construction tools, and safely operating machinery.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Foreman in strategizing and organizing construction projects, including scheduling, resource management, and material acquisition.
  • Oversee construction teams to ensure that work is performed according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Perform regular site evaluations to identify and mitigate any issues or potential hazards.
  • Work in partnership with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are achieved.
  • Instruct new construction personnel on safety protocols, equipment operation, and job duties.

Physical Demands:
  • Capability to lift heavy materials and engage in physical activities within a construction setting.
  • Readiness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
  • Endurance to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for managing tools and equipment.
