Job Overview

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Regional Sales Executive. This position is integral to our operations and will focus on enhancing our dealer network across various regions. The Regional Sales Executive will be tasked with strategizing, organizing, and expanding a profitable base of target and core dealers, ensuring they are well-informed about the advantages of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan, organize, and develop a profitable network of approximately 50 target and core dealers.
  • Identify and onboard new dealers within the designated territory.
  • Drive sales through proactive communication with current and prospective customers regarding product launches, services, pricing, and promotional offers.
  • Enhance sales revenue and maintain healthy gross margins.
  • Keep precise records of customer interactions within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with branch management teams to boost sales performance in assigned regions.
  • Formulate corrective action plans to achieve or surpass sales targets on a weekly basis.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on product features, benefits, and performance.
  • Ensure clients have access to all necessary information to meet and exceed service expectations.
  • Conduct regular outreach to assess customer satisfaction with our offerings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities within the territory.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of the company's product range and features.
  • Adhere to company policies and operational procedures.
  • Undertake additional projects as needed to support business objectives.

Nature and Scope:

  • Align work with the expectations and goals set by leadership.
  • Accountable for the execution of policies and procedures aimed at achieving short-term results.
  • Problem-solving guided by established policies and business plans.
  • Handle moderately complex issues and projects.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
  • Possess the authority to recommend hiring and performance evaluations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven sales expertise with the ability to create and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents and plans.
  • Familiarity with HVAC products and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Self-driven with the capacity to work independently.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the HVAC sector.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A college degree is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
