About the Job
">This role is responsible for preparing patients for encounters, assisting clinicians in delivering care, and maintaining service areas, equipment, and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the provider and department leadership, perform clinical and administrative duties.
- Maintain service areas, equipment, and supplies.
- Perform general clerical and scheduling duties in conjunction with department operations.
Requirements
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
- Current nationally accredited Medical Assistant Certification or Vermont State LNA License (preferred).
- 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferably in physician practice or hospital outpatient services setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of infection control and basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Venipuncture skills desirable.
- Demonstrated moderate knowledge of medical terminology.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $17.50-$25.91 per hour based on experience.
