About the Role

As a CBRE Real Estate Manager, you will play a key role in managing the staff responsible for the functional aspects of a single property or portfolio of commercial, industrial, or healthcare properties for a client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly.
  • Ensure that services are provided by following policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards.
  • Oversee periodic regular property inspection, recommending and/or approving alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as needed.
  • Responsible for lease and lease renewals.
  • Act as primary contact with property management to ensure that objectives are being met.
  • Prepare timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses.
  • Forecast management plans and prepares monthly performance, explaining variances.
  • Collect rent and pay expenses in compliance with lease terms.
  • Prepare all required legal notices.
  • Recommend and coordinate legal action as required.
  • Reviews and reconciles tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) recovery charges.
  • Provide lease analysis for client review and approval.
  • Document settlement of and notify affected parties.
Requirements
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Real Estate License required.
  • CPM or RPA professional designation or candidacy preferred.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills.
