Role Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated Histology Technologist to join our hospital-based team, ensuring that we maintain high standards of patient care. If you share our commitment to meaningful patient experiences, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis of testing samples in accordance with established protocols and perform quality control checks.
  • Embed tissue specimens accurately and efficiently.
  • Section paraffin blocks to achieve optimal results.
  • Perform routine staining procedures and address any staining issues proactively.
  • Execute on-site special stains and histochemical methods as required.
  • Prepare various cytological specimens and ensure accurate data entry.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Science or related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is advantageous.
  • Possession of a State of Florida Technologist License or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience in Histology, preferably in a high-volume setting.
