Role Responsibilities

We are looking for a Histology Technologist to join our hospital-based team, ensuring that we maintain high standards of patient care. If you share our commitment to quality and patient experience, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis of testing samples in accordance with established protocols and perform quality control checks.
• Embed tissue specimens accurately and efficiently.
• Section paraffin blocks to meet departmental standards.
• Produce tissue sections with precision and minimal artifacts.
• Execute routine H & E staining procedures as per departmental guidelines.
• Identify and rectify staining issues before submission.
• Perform specialized stains and histochemical methods as required.
• Prepare cytological specimens and ensure accurate data entry.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology is advantageous.
• Possession of a State of Florida Technologist License or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience in Histology, preferably in a high-volume setting.
