We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Team Lead to join our team at Rhode Island Medical Imaging. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of our mammography technologists, ensuring the highest level of patient care and quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of mammography technologists, ensuring efficient patient flow and excellent service.
- Support management in staff coverage, including scheduling, performance management, and problem-solving.
- Provide assistance with quality assurance, ensuring compliance with MQSA standards and reporting any issues to the site manager.
- Assist with orienting and training new technologists and mammographers, and complete related paperwork.
- Monitor image quality and review concerns with the site manager.
- Participate in performance appraisals and provide input on staff development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a mammographer, with 2 years of experience in performing mammography QA under the MQSA Standard.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
- Strong knowledge of equipment, its location, and vendors, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
