Job Summary

Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and screening mammograms, as well as assisting radiologists in the completion of intricate mammography examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete patient education and promote comfort for patients
  • Perform diagnostic or screening mammograms as ordered
  • Prepare for and assist radiologists in the completion of mammography examinations
  • Produce high-quality films for radiologists to evaluate
  • Perform quality control functions related to mammography
  • Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a mammographer
  • ARRT registration and graduation from a Radiologic Technology Program
  • Experience with TOMO preferred
