Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the preparation of food for patients, staff, and visitors at our healthcare facility, adhering to safe cooking techniques and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food in accordance with menu guidelines and dietary requirements, utilizing kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Modify food preparations to accommodate food allergies and ensure food quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized cooking environment, adhering to facility guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform related duties as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with four years of experience in food services, including two years in a hospital nutrition setting.
  • Current ServSafe Allergen and Food Service Handler Certifications, with a Washington State Food Worker Card obtained within 14 days of hire.
