Medical Office LPN Float Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office LPN Float Team Member to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our physicians and staff.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians and physician assistants with patient exams, preparing materials and equipment as needed.
- Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and medical data, including temperature, height, weight, vision, and chief complaint.
- Provide direct patient care, including ear irrigation, vaccinations, medications, wound care, and suture removal.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants.
- Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up, test results, or physician instructions.
- Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve practice and WCMG missions through quality improvement.
- Complete meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities.
- Maintain Nuvance Health values and demonstrate regular, reliable attendance.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry.
- Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
- Vaccine administration and medication preparation.
- Minimum one year of experience.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN Program.
