Job Summary

Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager - Service Sales and Maintenance to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our service sales and maintenance interests throughout the branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Meet and exceed established service sales goals and objectives for account retention, open order sales, repair sales, foreign maintenance acquisition, and NCS conversion.
  • Contract Management: Ensure all maintenance contracts are current and not exposed to unnecessary risk. Proactively convert/roll over pending or expiring maintenance contracts and recognize signs of potential cancellations.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare maintenance estimates, open order proposals, repair proposals, and present them to customers.
  • Customer Relations: Manage and develop excellent customer relations and ensure company interests are maximized in the area.
  • Technical Knowledge: Work to continually gain technical knowledge on elevator/escalator operations and build industry knowledge, particularly in dynamic regulatory areas.
  • Account Management: Assist with collections and maintenance of accounts to ensure minimal receivables and maintain accurate data entries and reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement programs and tasks and review all billables and escalations monthly for accuracy.
  • Technology Utilization: Diligently enter data and utilize Salesforce per company policy and guidelines.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility: Engage in Corporate Social Responsibility activities where possible.
Requirements
  • Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of B2B Sales, Construction Industry, Services Industry, and/or Commercial/Retail Real Estate experience.
  • Skills: Prior experience in a sales and/or customer service environment preferred. General knowledge of vertical transportation industry preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong customer service and people skills, ability to handle adversity calmly, and function with a high sense of urgency.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge in MS Office including Word, Outlook, EXCEL, and PowerPoint. MS Project knowledge beneficial. Salesforce application experience.
Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $104,000 and $143,000/year. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions based on achieving individual performance and/or sales metrics, incentive compensation, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

This is an at-will position, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary and any other discretionary payment or compensation program at any time.
