The Head of Investor Relations and Strategic Partnerships will play a critical role in ensuring MachineFi Lab is strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders. This individual will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for creating a compelling investor relations roadmap, developing a robust strategy, and managing relationships with the equity research and investor community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Co-founders to structure financing rounds and ensure alignment with the company's growth strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties.
  • Manage equity research and investor relationships, providing insights on market activity and presenting them to the leadership team.
  • Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and other factors that may impact the business.
  • Oversee and manage quarterly earnings and conference calls, ensuring seamless communication with investors and analysts.
  • Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory matters.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned professional with extensive experience generating business results and leading teams with effective management skills.
  • A corporate professional with entrepreneurial skills, looking to the future with optimism to envision what could be possible.
  • Success in this role requires collaboration, communication, leadership, and vision.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
  • An MBA or FMVA certification is an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and Equity Research Analysts.
  • Strong understanding of venture capital deal terms and crypto deal terms.
  • Native understanding of crypto and blockchain technologies.
  • A deep network within crypto.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry.
  • Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors.
  • A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends.
  • A professional who is also entrepreneurial, and has a client-minded focus.
  • Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Has superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors.
