About this Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network team in the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division at Wells Fargo Bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing suitable products and services to help customers achieve their financial goals.
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of bank products and services to connect with customers' needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build strong relationships, providing options for bank products and services that meet their needs.
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as necessary.
Requirements
  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant military experience, including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting.
  • Relevant military experience, including working in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources, or military recruiting.
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
Job Expectations
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  • Maintains cash drawer, cash handling, and balancing, and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed.
