HVAC Operations Supervisor

Position Overview

Carson Oil Company is currently seeking a qualified individual for the role of HVAC Operations Supervisor. This position is crucial for overseeing our Residential and HVAC department, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Manage and support all administrative functions within the office to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee the monthly inventory process and implement improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and training to office staff and HVAC technicians.
  • Handle the procurement of necessary parts and equipment to sustain inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the HVAC Manager and technicians to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives to enhance visibility for HVAC services.
  • Process customer invoices based on completed work orders.
  • Assist the credit department with the collection process.
  • Manage end-of-month responsibilities, including invoicing and inventory counts.
  • Support ongoing education programs for HVAC technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with permitting processes by filing and following up on necessary permits.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in dispatching and communication with field personnel.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize various client-based applications and systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with city and county permitting processes is preferred.
  • Prior experience in HVAC is preferred.

Work Environment

The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, with occasional requirements to drive in varying weather conditions. The role may involve lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds.
