About the Role

CoolSys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Installation Supervisor to lead our commercial refrigeration projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of our refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and train project crews to ensure efficient and accurate project completion
  • Prioritize and delegate responsibilities to ensure timely project completion
  • Communicate with tradespeople on the job site to ensure smooth project execution
  • Track project schedules and ensure compliance with installation policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe behavior on the job site
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or related industry/trade
  • Commercial HVAC Foreman experience required
  • Ability to travel and work nights as needed
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours
  • Ability to organize tasks and use good judgment in making work assignments
  • Ability to give clear instructions and guidance as needed
  • Ability to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as needed
  • Ability to ensure safe work practices and compliance with safety policies
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a track record of punctuality and dependability
  • Ability to use computer tools, including email, word processing, and project planning software
