Position Overview:
The Patient Concierge Representative plays a crucial role in managing and organizing patient appointments while serving as the primary liaison for individuals seeking initial consultations and treatment plans across various services and locations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all necessary medical records and documentation are received and organized to facilitate comprehensive evaluations.
2. Collaborate with nursing staff to assess the appropriateness of appointments and secure preauthorizations as needed.
3. Track and manage patient cancellations efficiently, utilizing waitlists to enhance access for both new and returning patients.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients of all ages, their families, visitors, and medical personnel, ensuring respectful and prompt interactions.
5. Schedule and reschedule initial consultations and appointments as required for multiple locations.
6. Perform all necessary functions of the Patient Access Representative role as needed.

Qualifications:
Required:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in patient scheduling or registration within a healthcare environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a patient-centered approach in all interactions.

Preferred:
- Three (3) years of experience with medical insurance, managed care, and appointment scheduling, along with familiarity with medical terminology.

Education:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in fields such as Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration.

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle routine tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical and Emotional Demands:
- The role may require prolonged periods of standing or sitting, frequent bending, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
