About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our Americas team. As a key member of our Enterprise Advocates team, you will be responsible for building and implementing effective sales strategies to drive adoption of our products and services among our largest Enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute named Account or Territory plans to maximize expansion opportunities and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain full Account ownership and coordinate with various teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.

  • Work closely with colleagues in the Channel, EDR, and Loyalty teams to build and execute effective sales strategies for designated territories or named Accounts.

  • Engage with Technical Account Managers to understand technical initiatives and business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the Loyalty Advocate team to maximize customer health and retention.

  • Funnel key customer feedback through our Field Ops Insights team.

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, Solution Partners, and key customers.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.

  • Proven track record of managing key customer relationships and closing strategic sales opportunities.

  • Extensive experience utilizing a CRM to achieve and correlate key performance metrics.

  • Ability to build and lead territory and strategic account plans.

  • Experience leading or coordinating Account teams to drive successful customer outcomes.

  • Consultative and solution-oriented approach to engaging customers and discovering new opportunities.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets.

  • Contribution to a positive and impactful team culture.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling SaaS to Dev/IT audiences.

  • Solution selling to VP and C-level Executives.

  • Experience working alongside a channel sales organization.

  • Familiarity with Atlassian's suite of products.

  • Experience with both on-premise and cloud software solutions.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. Our base pay ranges for this role are:

Zone A: $127,000 - $152,400 USD

Zone B: $114,000 - $136,800 USD

Zone C: $105,000 - $126,000 USD

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
