Configuration and Data Management Engineer II

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Configuration and Data Management Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and operations of our New Glenn launch vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement configuration management strategies for our Jazz tools.
  • Support updates, peer reviews, and configuration management activities of specifications, design descriptions, and verification plans.
  • Implement and improve processes to enable our teams to move quickly and efficiently.
  • Train users on the proper use of configuration management tools and systems.
  • Monitor user feedback and behavior to optimize processes.
Requirements:
  • AA/AS or BA/BS in a related technical or liberal arts discipline.
  • 2+ years of product configuration management experience, preferably with aerospace systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with data configuration and management tools.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to realize results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Power user of IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation or other engineering data management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of product configuration management experience, preferably with aerospace systems.
  • 2+ years of power use of JAZZ suite DNG and ETM tools.
  • 2+ years of experience with data configuration and management tools for system engineering products.
  • Systems engineering verification or project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian toolset, especially Confluence and JIRA.
