Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Configuration and Data Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our systems engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing configuration management strategies, processes, and tools to support the development and operations of our New Glenn launch vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement configuration management strategies, processes, and tools to support the development and operations of New Glenn.
  • Support the development and implementation of configuration management systems to facilitate building various spaceflight systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of configuration data.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for configuration management processes and tools.
  • Monitor and analyze configuration data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • AA/AS or BA/BS in a related technical or liberal arts discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in product configuration management, preferably with aerospace systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with use of data configuration and management tools.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to realize results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Power user of IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation, or other engineering data management tools such as Jazz CLM applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product configuration management, preferably with aerospace systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with use of data configuration and management tools for system engineering products.
  • Systems engineering verification or project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian toolset, especially Confluence and JIRA.
