We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Piedmont Eastside Hospital. This is a full-time position working variable shifts, including days, holidays, night call coverage, and weekends.

About the Role

As an Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider, you will work alongside our experienced physicians to provide high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting and independent outpatient clinics. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and treating electrophysiology patients
  • Conducting patient histories, physical examinations, and recording data in patient records
  • Writing progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries
  • Preparing patient workups and ordering diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Collaborating with physicians and other cardiology advanced practice providers in a team environment

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • Masters or bachelors degree from an accredited PA program and National Board Certification
  • Or, licensed as a nurse practitioner and approved to practice as a NP by the State of Georgia with National Certification
  • 1-2 years of electrophysiology experience preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of general cardiology experience preferred; familiarity with pacemakers and defibrillators a plus
