Piedmont Heart Institute is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This is a PRN position working shifts as needed, including day, night, and weekend shifts. You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians in the nation. Our team provides a full range of cardiovascular services, including electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical, and research services. In this role, you will assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting, take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in patient records. You will also write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries, prepare patient workups, and order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients. You will work alongside physicians and other Cardiology APPs in a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program and National Board Certification, or a graduate degree in nursing with a current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing. A minimum of 2 years of previous Cardiology experience is preferred.
