Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Event Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable establishing and cultivating relationships with new and existing clientele and show a passion for their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales/Client Service: Employee responsible for the solicitation of new business, including outside cold sales calls, internal/existing client service, responding to client inquiries, and the management and maintenance of existing BTS client base.
- On-Site at Events: Employee is expected to attend client events if appropriate and liaise between client changes and requests and company's operations staff or make proper introductions between client and Event Manager in order to ensure a smooth transition between sales and operations and overall client satisfaction.
- Special Projects: Employee from time to time may be expected to work on Special Large-Scale projects, which may include administrative tasks, client service tasks, on-site event management, or other associated duties associated with the project.
- Administrative: Employee Responsible for maintaining client files, utilizing catering software for all client database information, preparation of proposal and other related marketing materials.
Requirements
- Strong Interpersonal oral and written skills.
- Strong knowledge of job duties and functions.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands.
- Ability to prioritize workflow resulting in efficient and accurate results.
- Self-Starter, ability to take a project from inception to completion.
- Proven sales ability from inquiry to final sales/client commitment.
Work Schedule
This position may require the employee to work on weekends, holidays, and after standard business hours as needed to be of service to clients and guests. Employee should be prepared to be flexible in their time management and schedule to accommodate the dynamic event schedule that we follow for our clients.
