ROLE SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and prepared to tackle routine cleaning and special projects as needed. This position requires delivering exceptional customer service to all visitors while demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the facility's offerings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome guests and provide necessary information and guidance.
  • Deliver courteous and exemplary service to all visitors.
  • Conduct general cleaning of all areas within the facility as instructed.
  • Monitor for spills and address them promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all floor surfaces and glass throughout the facility.
  • Ensure all restrooms are clean and well-stocked.
  • Keep guest seating and lobby areas tidy.
  • Manage waste and recycling removal.
  • Complete special projects and daily tasks as assigned by management.
  • Provide friendly assistance to guests, answering questions and offering directions.
  • Perform non-routine cleaning tasks as specified.
  • Handle daily garbage and recycling removal, preparing bins for collection.
  • Respond to emergency cleaning requests as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or porter roles is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, or progress towards it.
  • Willingness to work various shifts is essential.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to follow directions and complete tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, and perform bending or squatting as necessary.
  • Capability to navigate the facility for prolonged periods.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer.
  • Work environment may include intermittent noise.
