- Facilities Operations: Assist in the planning, designing, and construction of facilities to meet the needs of our organization.
- Quality Control: Review work for quality, accuracy, and completeness to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Safety and Risk Management: Adhere to safety regulations and programs to alleviate risk and provide protection for employees, patients, and visitors.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and ensure responsible backup is available to take corrective action as necessary.
- Procurement and Inventory: Assist in the maintenance and general procurement of materials and parts, and schedule installations to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance programs for utility systems, equipment, and building maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in engineering preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the operation of a commercial or institutional facility, with a well-rounded background and vast knowledge of heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to set priorities, make decisions, analyze facts, and exercise sound judgment; ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
