Position Overview

This role involves the setup and installation of computing devices and printing solutions, assisting with the procurement and management of IT assets, supporting special events, and undertaking various projects as needed. This is a fantastic entry-level position for individuals with a solid grasp of computer systems and a keen interest in enterprise IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to established protocols for laptop configuration, including standard imaging, software installation, and final quality assurance testing.
  • Document and update service requests in tracking systems.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of inventory and asset management.
  • Facilitate the decommissioning process for obsolete equipment.
  • Assist in the setup of computer peripherals.
  • Coordinate equipment deployment and relocation during onboarding and office transitions.
  • Engage with vendors for the repair of laptops, desktops, and printers.
  • Manage telephone systems and handsets.
  • Ensure proper functionality of AV and conferencing equipment, coordinating repairs with vendors as necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendors to procure standard hardware and monitor inventory levels.
  • Participate in additional projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in supporting both Mac and PC operating systems and hardware in a professional environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Capability to independently identify and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
