Key Responsibilities

The Systems Integrity Representative at Johnson Controls is tasked with the identification, promotion, and sales of fire safety products and services. This role is essential in achieving both monthly and annual sales targets within the designated region.

Primary Duties

  • Engage in the sale of Fire & Life Safety products and services to address any deficiencies identified during inspections carried out by Johnson Controls at client locations, focusing primarily on fire safety systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, and if any non-compliance issues are detected, these will be documented and forwarded to the SIR team for action.
  • Provide prompt and accurate quotations for identified deficiencies to ensure the ongoing safety of our clients' personnel, assets, and customers.
  • Prepare detailed specifications, descriptions, and pricing for the resolution of deficiencies through quotes or proposals, collaborating closely with the Service team (Inspectors, Technicians, and Service Managers).
  • Deliver deficiency correction quotes to clients in a clear and timely manner.
  • Secure client commitment, via phone and email, to proceed with the necessary work or purchase the required components as outlined.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with clients until the quote is either accepted or the client indicates they will not proceed with Johnson Controls for the necessary corrections.
  • Document all customer interactions during follow-ups on outstanding quotes.
  • Refer leads to Service Sales Representatives for more complex deficiency corrections that may require site visits or involve larger projects.
  • Upon selection for the role, candidates must complete all requisite training.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, databases, CRM systems, and web-based applications.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong follow-up abilities to obtain information from internal resources, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone and through email.
  • Positive and energetic demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical field service is advantageous.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is expected.
  • Occasional overtime may be necessary.
