Key Responsibilities
The Systems Integrity Representative at Johnson Controls is tasked with the identification, promotion, and sales of fire protection products and services. This role is crucial in achieving monthly and annual sales targets within the designated territory.
Primary Duties
- Engage in the sale of Fire & Life Safety products and services to address deficiencies identified during inspections performed by Johnson Controls at client locations, focusing primarily on fire systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and document any non-compliance issues, which will be classified as deficiencies and referred to the SIR team.
- Provide prompt and accurate quotations for deficiencies to ensure the ongoing safety of clients' employees, assets, and customers.
- Collaborate closely with the Service team (Inspectors, Technicians, and Service Managers) to specify, detail, and price solutions for the identified deficiencies through quotes or proposals.
- Deliver deficiency correction quotes to clients in a clear and timely manner.
- Secure client commitment via phone and email to proceed with the necessary work or purchase the required components.
- Maintain follow-up communications with clients until the quote is either accepted or declined.
- Document all customer interactions related to open quotes.
- Refer complex deficiency corrections to Service Sales Representatives for larger projects requiring site visits or additional considerations.
- Complete all required training upon selection for the position.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, databases, CRM systems, and web-based applications.
- A minimum of two years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong follow-up capabilities to obtain information from internal resources, contractors, and suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly through phone and email interactions.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
- Preferred experience in mechanical or electrical field service.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Consistent attendance is expected.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
