Role Summary
The Systems Integrity Representative at Johnson Controls is tasked with the promotion and sales of fire safety products and services. This position is essential in achieving the monthly and annual sales targets for the designated area.
Key Responsibilities
- Focus on selling Fire & Life Safety solutions to address any deficiencies identified during inspections performed by Johnson Controls at client locations, particularly regarding fire systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections, documenting any non-compliance issues, which will be categorized as deficiencies and referred to the SIR team.
- Efficiently prepare quotes for deficiencies to ensure the ongoing safety of our clients' employees, assets, and customers.
- Specify, articulate, and assign pricing for the resolution of deficiencies through detailed quotes or proposals, collaborating closely with the Service team (Inspectors, Technicians, and Service Managers).
- Deliver deficiency correction quotes to clients in a clear and timely manner.
- Engage with clients via phone and email to secure commitment for the proposed work and/or parts purchase.
- Follow up diligently with clients until the quote is either accepted or the client decides against contracting with Johnson Controls for the necessary corrections.
- Document all customer interactions related to open quotes.
- Refer leads to Service Sales Representatives for more complex deficiency corrections that may require site visits or additional considerations.
- Upon acceptance of the role, candidates must complete all necessary training.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, databases, CRM systems, and web-based applications.
- A minimum of two years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service is highly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong follow-up skills to obtain information from internal resources, contractors, and suppliers.
- Excellent communication abilities, particularly through phone and email interactions.
- Positive attitude with robust customer service skills.
- Experience in mechanical or electrical field service is advantageous.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- Consistent attendance is expected.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
