We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team, responsible for managing existing accounts to ensure maximum revenue potential is achieved. This includes securing annual renewal subscriptions, identifying and qualifying expansion and cross-sell opportunities, developing and delivering account plans, and negotiating and closing deals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in account management or sales, with a strong understanding of the K-12 education industry. They will possess excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to create a positive experience for our customers.

The primary goal of this role is to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction, while also achieving territory revenue targets. This will involve proactive outreach, establishing customer communication strategies, and leveraging HMH Insights tools to identify opportunities for growth.

The Account Manager will also collaborate with other sales roles, such as Customer Success Managers and Sales Development Representatives, to ensure a smooth and consistent sales process. They will utilize Salesforce to manage opportunities and pipeline, providing accurate quarterly and annual revenue forecasts to management.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $92,000, plus uncapped commissions. The ideal candidate will be based in North Carolina, with 60-70% travel expectations.
