Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support to the on-site day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring that every aspect of the project runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Assist the project superintendent and project engineer in coordinating all aspects of the project, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: Work closely with the project team to ensure that each trade is on schedule and on budget.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that the project is being constructed and finished in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the project team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently, minimizing delays and costs.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in construction, preferably in a support role.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software.
