Position Overview
As a Culinary Arts Program Facilitator, you will engage students in a wide array of culinary experiences, focusing on essential cooking skills and food presentation techniques. You will create an engaging and inclusive atmosphere that encourages students to explore their culinary interests through hands-on learning and project-based activities.
This role requires flexibility to work with various age groups within our K-8 program, ensuring that all students benefit from meaningful culinary experiences throughout the academic year. You will lead weekly activities tailored to different grade levels, fostering creativity and collaboration in each classroom.
Qualifications
We encourage candidates who may not meet every qualification to apply. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working with elementary or middle school students in educational or recreational settings
- Experience in diverse educational environments
- Skills in developing lesson plans focused on project-based learning
- A commitment to professional growth and development
- Experience in teaching culinary arts, including cooking and baking techniques
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of students and the program
