Position Title: IT Systems Analyst
Position Overview: This remote role supports a variety of EMCOR operating companies, focusing on on-site assistance during mergers and acquisitions. The IT Systems Analyst will address and resolve technical issues while collaborating with Senior IT Directors to enhance technology and security measures across current and future operating companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with operating companies to tackle complex IT challenges as they emerge.
- Conduct IT evaluations related to best practices, security measures, and overall system health.
- Collaborate with IT and executive leadership on technology design, budgeting, and implementation.
- Provide essential support to Directors and Senior Directors within the organization.
- Participate in a broad IT community to address issues that may affect multiple stakeholders.
- Assist with urgent initiatives during mergers and acquisitions.
- Design and implement solutions based on expertise and a vetted list of approved vendors.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standard operating procedures and industry best practices.
- Travel frequently (up to 50% of the year) across the United States to support EMCOR companies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of seven years in technology design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with IT and security, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, PowerShell, Server OS, Virtualization, Backups, IT Asset Management, BCP, and Endpoint Protection.
- Familiarity with a broad range of security and IT technologies, with a commitment to staying updated on emerging trends.
- Solid understanding of network routing and firewall operations.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to work remotely and travel as necessary.
