Job Summary

Graco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our global operations team. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with the business objectives of our global manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will partner with leadership and management across various global locations to deliver proactive and consistent HR support and guidance, ensuring that our HR initiatives drive performance, engagement, and operational excellence across all manufacturing and supply chain teams and locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior operations leadership and management to understand business needs and provide relevant HR solutions that support the manufacturing and supply chain team's goals.
  • Develop and implement an HR roadmap with annual priorities aligned with global business objectives and manufacturing/supply chain priorities.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies for all key manufacturing and supply chain roles, focused on manager level and above leaders.
  • Develop talent pipeline strategies in partnership with the operations leaders for hard to fill and critical roles across sites.
  • Support succession planning and career development programs to build a pipeline of talent for key positions within the manufacturing and supply chain team.
  • Act as a point of escalation contact for employee relations issues, providing consistent guidance and resolution to conflicts and concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global labor laws and manage have oversite of investigation process, disciplinary and conflict resolution in collaboration with local HR teams.
  • Establish a roadmap to standardize and streamline HR policies and practices across different sites; maintain any necessary site-specific needs with standardization as the default principle.
  • Partner with management in support of employee engagement initiatives and communication strategies.
  • Partner with managers to drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Support the implementation of performance improvement plans and address performance issues proactively.
  • Facilitate organizational change initiatives and support the implementation of organizational development programs.
  • Identify and address organizational effectiveness opportunities and promote best practices across global manufacturing sites.
  • Support change management initiatives by providing guidance on HR-related aspects of organizational changes, mergers, acquisitions, and organization redesign efforts.
  • Actively leverage the HR dashboard and utilize HR metrics and analytics to provide insights and recommendations on workforce trends, engagement, and other key HR indicators.
  • Prepare and present reports to leadership on HR activities, challenges, and successes.
  • Ensure HR practices and policies are compliant with local regulations and global standards.
  • Stay updated on global HR trends and regulatory changes affecting the manufacturing and supply chain sector.
  • Lead, mentor, manage, and staff a team of site HR managers and HR generalists, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and facilitating professional growth opportunities.
  • Drive strong partnership with HR global centers of excellence, HR operations team to ensure full utilization of the centrally generated HR services for the manufacturing and supply chain employees.
  • Establish, manage, and be accountable for the annual team budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
