Sales Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Tallahassee. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in the success of our sales team, working closely with our sales team to achieve revenue goals and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to group inquiries and other requests in a timely manner
  • Block groups in hotel systems and prepare rooms for walk-in clients
  • Create and distribute flyers for special events and oversee group blocks and rooming lists
  • Route billing, payments, and prepare reports for revenue management and sales teams
  • Assist with scheduling and servicing meeting rooms as needed and order sales amenities and supplies
  • Provide support and sales insight to the sales team and other departments
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Front Desk Agent in the hotel industry
  • Front Desk or Sales experience with the brand strongly preferred
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • Exceptional customer service skills required
  • Professional attire required
  • Strong computer skills, email, Excel, and ability to learn Sales systems
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills required
