About the Role

The Key Account Manager is responsible for handling our most important client accounts, which make up the highest percentage of our revenue. This individual will build and maintain a strong relationship with clients, serving as the lead point of contact for all key client matters.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and RS Group.
  • Resolve key client issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Gain a complete understanding of key account needs to provide tailored solutions.
  • Anticipate key account changes and improvements to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage communications between key clients and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Assist and coordinate account team assigned to each client to maximize results.
  • Conduct strategic planning to improve client results and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with sales team to maximize profit through up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
  • Four to five years' previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or a relevant field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen, present, and connect with people at all levels.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on superior Excel skills.
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics to translate results into better solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to follow-through on client contracts.
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.
