Position Summary:

As a Safety Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Team and the organization's safety division to implement corporate safety and health protocols in alignment with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Your duties will encompass all aspects of safety management for each project assigned to you.

This position requires a presence on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a zero-injury safety culture across all projects.
  • Conduct regular, documented safety inspections of job sites.
  • Lead orientation sessions for new project personnel.
  • Assist in reviewing subcontractor safety analyses.
  • Identify safety trends and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure timely and effective reporting of all incidents.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health or equivalent experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Experience in safety management within the construction industry, with a solid grasp of safety/environmental principles.
  • Field experience is essential.
  • OSHA 30-hour construction certification required.
  • OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer certification is advantageous.
  • MEWP Certification and Fall Protection experience are beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in diverse team settings.
  • Experience with subcontractors and self-perform work is a plus.
  • Highly motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing at least 50 lbs.
