Effective collaboration with plant personnel, the SDI LaFarga Engineering Team, suppliers, and integrators is essential for the success of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a Culture of Safety Excellence
  • Deliver engineering assistance for construction initiatives, operational activities, and maintenance tasks
  • Lead electrical engineering efforts to meet safety, customer satisfaction, quality, sustainability, and profitability objectives
  • Work closely with the operations team to diagnose equipment and process challenges and propose effective solutions
  • Create maintenance protocols for repair and refurbishment
  • Oversee equipment refurbishments and manage capital improvement initiatives
  • Guide and develop the skills of department personnel

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Commitment to safety
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Capability to create requirements, specifications, and P&ID diagrams
  • Experience in overseeing and executing capital projects
  • Expertise in PLC systems configuration, programming, and motor drive tuning
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Collaborative team member with strong organizational abilities
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or equipment installation
