Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

General Kinematics is seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth and develop strategic relationships with customers in the Oregon region.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead sales projects through the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Travel extensively within the region to meet with customers and partners.
  • Work closely with GK Industry Directors and Component Sales Managers to provide customers with competitive proposals.
  • Engage outside manufacturer representatives to assist in qualifying leads and developing a pipeline of prospects and customers.
  • Recognize potential GK solutions and equipment sales opportunities.
  • Develop well-defined product specifications for the overall design integrity of GK products.
  • Monitor market acceptability of GK products in terms of quality, price, performance, and sustainability.
  • Prepare reports with recommendations and findings.
  • Perform sales presentations and attend industry-specific trade shows as required.
  • Oversee and work with group members to continually improve the Sales Department.
  • Maintain weekly communication with Regional Sales Manager and submit quarterly regional strategic plans.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Knowledge of vibratory equipment and industry focus in process equipment.
  • Previous corporate/key account management experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and working knowledge of CAD.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
