Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at The Portland Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams and treatments by setting up exam rooms and rooming patients according to our clinic's protocol.
- Assist with in-office procedures, gynecological exams, and other medical tasks as needed.
- Manage a desk in a fast-paced environment, scheduling patients, entering data, and handling phone calls and messages.
- Clean and prepare instruments for autoclaving, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide patient-centered care.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Basic understanding of Medical Terminology and Infection Control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
