Medication Technician

We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Prestige Senior Living - Beaverton Hills. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in providing medication services and direct resident care, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and assist with the self-administration of routine and non-routine medications in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
- Process physician medication and treatment orders, maintaining accurate records of medication and treatment services provided or omitted.
- Coordinate with pharmacies for medication orders and refills, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medications.
- Report all medication errors and incidents to the Health Services Director and physician, maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
- Provide direct resident care, promoting dignity, independence, and choice, while observing residents' physical and mental conditions and reporting changes to the Health Services Director.
- Assist with or provide care services as directed by the resident's cooperative service plan, ensuring a high level of care and support.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacies, outside services, residents, and families regarding medication and care services, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
- One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred or as required by state regulations.
- State required medication pass certification or other required certification, delegation, and training requirements.
- Current CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
