Job Summary

We are seeking a Fund Origination Assistant Vice President to support our growing alternative investments feeder fund business. This role will report into a Senior Vice President on the Fund Origination team and will focus on new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding, and fund lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support projects related to onboarding new funds and working across the organization to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Prepare fund marketing materials with the appropriate information, including updates.
  • Coordinate with the internal Compliance and Legal teams on review and approvals.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of materials related to new fund approvals and new fund launches.
  • Prepare and disseminate project progress notes.
  • Input and update fund governance details on a regular basis.
  • Assist in various ad hoc fund launch activities.
  • Work with key wealth management clients and their service providers, communicating processes and requirements, recommending best practices, and leading overall project management to launch their funds on the iCapital platform.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or another related field.
  • 5+ years of product structuring experience with exposure to fund administration, fund management, or custodial relationships.
  • Experience in alternative investments with a focus on various fund structures is required.
  • Positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlines.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

iCapital offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $100,000 to $140,000, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
