We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Fund Finance team at Standard Chartered. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing customer profitability from FSIG and FI relationships, contributing to origination, structuring, and execution of fund finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Origination and Execution: Support senior transactors to originate, lead, structure, and execute transactions that fit the overall Fund Finance mandate for FSIG and FI clients.
- Performance Management: Achieve the quantitative and qualitative performance objectives set for the Fund Finance business.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate client relationships, prospect new financing opportunities through premier product solution offerings.
- Product Development: Support the development of new products and new structures to meet client needs and market trends.
- Market Representation: Represent SC Fund Finance in the marketplace, provide connectivity with banks and market participants of the products covered.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders and relevant segment and product partners to efficiently and effectively deliver the product to our clients.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor the global portfolio, ensure fund finance business conforms to the Global Underwriting Guidelines, the relevant Product Program Guidelines, and all policies and procedures.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in commercial and/or investment banking or associated disciplines.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of lending products, including subscription finance industry experience.
- Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, and credit underwriting skills.
- Qualifications: Prior execution experience, working with internal and external counterparties, including clients, legal counsels, peer banks, and investors.
- Market Knowledge: Experience in reading, negotiating, and interpreting legal agreements, knowledge of security law in multiple jurisdictions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
