Job Summary:

  • Develop, evaluate, and review procurement documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience in contract management software a plus
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Good at establishing working relationships, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Capable of handling confidential information, with a high level of discretion and integrity
  • Knowledge of contract management principles and practices, with experience in procurement and contract administration a plus

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or public administration, or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as business administration or public administration, is advantageous
  • Minimum of three years of experience in procurement and contract administration, with a focus on contract management and compliance

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The Procurement Specialist at New York Housing Trust Fund will play a critical role in supporting the organization's mission to provide affordable housing across New York State.
