As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Sales team and potential customers. Your technical expertise will empower our team to demonstrate our products' capabilities and applications, address technical queries in the Sales process, and match customised solutions to meet our customers' unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio, including features, benefits, and applications.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sales team and Distributors to identify customer needs and provide technical expertise that enhances our sales propositions.
- Solution Development: Work closely with customers to understand their technical needs and challenges. Develop and propose approaches that leverage our product capabilities to meet their specific needs.
- Training and Education: Train and educate customers on product technical aspects and application fit. Organise and conduct product demonstrations and on-boarding for our customers and Distributor partners.
- Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers during the sales process, offering technical guidance and support.
About You
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Strong technical background with a comprehensive understanding of cell assays and applications.
- Extensive cell culture experience required, 3D cell culture experience preferred.
- Proven experience in technical sales preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in an understandable manner.
