Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role involves being the first point of contact for patients as they arrive, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling follow-up appointments, and providing general assistance to patients as needed.

As part of the role, you will handle incoming phone calls, addressing patient inquiries and providing necessary support.

Documentation of physician notes in the electronic medical records (EMR) system is a key responsibility.

This position requires effective multitasking, balancing the needs of patients in front of you, phone calls, and requests from medical staff.

Work distribution includes approximately 33% of time spent on phone interactions, 33% on computer tasks, and 33% assisting patients directly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service or patient-facing roles
  • Understanding of insurance processes is essential
  • Familiarity with EMR systems is advantageous
