Position Overview:

The Sexual Violence Services Coordinator at Support Within Reach is a pivotal role dedicated to the development and execution of services aimed at addressing sexual violence within the Beltrami County region.

This position entails providing immediate crisis intervention, advocacy, support, and essential information to individuals affected by sexual violence and exploitation.

This is a part-time role based out of the Support Within Reach office. It includes rotating on-call duties alongside other team members in the designated area.

Reporting Structure:

Office Location:
The primary work location is in the designated office, with occasional travel required to neighboring counties for service provision. Training may also necessitate travel to various locations.

Compliance with internal health and safety protocols is mandatory, including the use of protective face coverings when in shared spaces.

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential, including daily sanitation tasks when present in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Professional Conduct: Uphold the mission and values of the organization in all professional interactions.

Demonstrate respect and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal reporting requirements.

Engage in collaborative goal-setting and maintain open communication with colleagues.

Attend relevant meetings and contribute to team decision-making processes.

Document client interactions accurately and complete necessary administrative tasks promptly.

Support general office operations as needed, including answering phones and managing paperwork.

Participate in special projects as directed by the supervisor.

Client Engagement: Manage a diverse caseload, providing direct services to clients through various communication methods.

Deliver trauma-informed and culturally sensitive crisis interventions to victims and survivors of sexual violence.

Offer legal advocacy, including assistance with protective orders and support during legal proceedings.

Facilitate community education initiatives to raise awareness about available services.

Coordinate and lead community outreach events to promote agency resources.

Collaborate with other advocates and volunteers to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Organize and facilitate support groups for clients.

Keep the supervisor informed of any programming issues or trends affecting service delivery.

Maintain accurate records for reporting purposes and ensure timely submission of necessary documentation.

Engage in ongoing professional development and training.

Provide after-hours support to survivors in collaboration with law enforcement and healthcare providers.

Participate in community events to enhance agency visibility and outreach.

Advocacy and Community Collaboration: Build and nurture partnerships with local organizations and agencies.

Assist in the training of volunteers and staff.

Engage in public speaking and educational outreach to promote agency services.

Participate in statewide networking opportunities as appropriate.

Contribute to agency communications and outreach materials.

Administrative Duties: Organize meetings and planning sessions, ensuring effective communication among team members.

Facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders in the community.

Monitor project goals and ensure adherence to established protocols.

Gather and analyze data to inform service improvements and report on project outcomes.

Attend relevant multi-disciplinary meetings as required.

Coordinate services for sexually exploited youth, providing case management and support across multiple counties.

Work collaboratively with various agencies to ensure comprehensive victim services.
