Job Description

Job Summary:

CAMBA is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Outreach Liaison to join our Workforce Development and Refugee Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and promoting our services to the community, with the goal of recruiting and retaining clients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of refugees, asylees, and other vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a marketing plan to promote our services to the community, including social media, outreach events, and partnerships with community-based organizations.
  • Conduct outreach to potential clients, influencers, and trusted messengers to raise awareness about our programs and services.
  • Design and deliver presentations to community providers, local government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote our services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our outreach efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies to engage and retain clients in our programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, community development, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in community outreach, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Bi-lingual English and French, Russian, Arabic, Mandarin, Fulani, and/or Tibetan preferred.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $42,000 - $53,000 annually.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, and paid time off.
