Job Title: Human Resource Director

Vaco is seeking a seasoned Human Resource Director to lead our HR team in New York. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results and support our company's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, talent development, and employee relations.
  • Partner with academic and non-academic leaders to develop and lead an effective People strategy for designated teams.
  • Provide strategic partnership to supervisors, including coaching, performance management, leadership development, and conflict management.
  • Identify and deploy impactful people strategies and policies that enable the organization to perform effectively and scale efficiently as it grows.
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR - New York Campus and members of the HR team on communications, projects, and best practices.
  • Provide expertise in the development and execution of employee relations efforts, including culture and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in HR leadership, with a focus on talent development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to drive business results through HR strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Please note that the salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
